Our 14 Pounder

Yesterday Henry went in for more shots. Making his mother proud, he hardly cried at all. In fact, he cried more when we put him in his car seat than when he received the set of three vaccines (he hates his car seat). While at the doctor's office, we weighed him, and he weighed a whopping 13lbs, 15oz - that's nearly 14 pounds!!! At 12 weeks old, our little guy is not so little anymore. Check out the link for a quick look at our growing baby.

Henry at 11 weeks

Henry is now eleven weeks old, and they have been the best eleven weeks of our lives. Last week he had his two month doctor's appointment. He weighed 12lbs, 12oz and measured 24 inches. The pediatrician gave Henry a great report - he is a healthy and happy baby! Here are a couple of pictures of Henry soothing himself to sleep. Check out the video clip to see a sleepy Henry and watchful Jaeger (the quality isn't great - the video was taken with a still camera).

Family pics

Last week we had a photographer come to Ali's parents house (Graham Rouse: www.rousemultimedia.com). He spent an hour taking pictures of our family, both posed and candid. He is an incredible photographer - it was a blast. Here are some of our favorites:

Summer has begun.

While the beginning of summer is still three weeks away, we are finally experiencing some summer-ish weather. And what better way to enjoy the heat then chillin' in and by the baby pool.

Best of Friends

At only seven weeks apart, Jake and Henry are sure to be great friends. But before their lifetime of friendship begins, Jake has some catching up to do!

A retriever after all

While in McConnelsville this weekend, Matt introduced Jaeger to retrieving in the water. With a little patience and a couple savory training dummies, Jaeger caught on quickly. Dove season opens September 1st, and this hunting dog will be ready!
We'll be sure to get some images of Jaeger retrieving next time we are in McC.

Hooper Family Shrimp Boil

Memorial Day weekend means time for the Annual Hooper Family Shrimp Boil. Last night we met up at Scott and Michelle Hooper's for shrimp, beer, bonfire, family and good times in the country. It was Henry's Hooper-side debut, and he was the hit of the party. Can't wait for next year!
